Why have a wedding video?

This day is about you and we understand that this is the start of the big adventure and your married life together. A video / DVD is a reminder of those special and memorable moments from one of the most important days of your life. Something you, your family, friends and children can watch and look back on with fond memories from the day that you became united as one. The video needs to be creative, visually stimulating, well knitted together and easily watch-able. We at Complete Film create something beautiful and work closly with the client to get both the best from the day and capture exactly what you wanted.

Why have photographs?

Photographs are a very important part of a wedding day and capturing the moments for the bride and groom is an important role for whoever you choose to take those special photos. At Complete Film we understand the responsablilties and work hard to capture the day and find those special moments which you many never capture again. Complete Film have the same work ethic for photographs as they do filming. Consulting with the client to get the best from the day and to capture exactly what the day is for the client.

The personal touch.

We meet the couple and the organisers to talk about this special event.

Meeting with the couple or the organiser of this special day is important, getting to know, help and where possible advise, all makes our service that much more personal. The ability to be approachable and discuss options. This also helps to get a real feeling and picture for what you want, detailing any special requirements. After all its your day and you don't want a generic wedding video.

Providing packages and work closely with others in the wedding industry.

We have collaborative packages to provide better deals for the customer. Night to Remember is an entertainments provider and event planning company with many years of experience in the events industry. They have supplied top venues in and around London and the south east.

Packages come in various combinations, from two videographers and entertainments package to complete coverage packages using two videographers, two photographers and a large road show disco. This means you can sit back and leave the planning for these elements to us, saving money, time and creating a smoother event with less need for your time.

Wedding Videographers and Photographers can stay to the end of your event. Why?

We understand that this is a special day and the day has not finished when the first dance takes place or when you cut the cake. Therefore if you wish we can stay to the end of the event. This means we do not miss any part of your special day, except the parts you don't want us filming. This is done by agreement and offered as part of one of our packages.

We visit the venues used prior to the events, both the church or ceremony venue and the venue used for the reception. Why?

This allows us to discuss the event with those who will provide other services, giving us the insight to the important issues to get the best for your special day. Issues such as locations for the cameras, permissions required, available lighting and additional lighting. Also allowing us to answer questions to do with sound. Like, does the room echo? do we need to use radio microphones, or fixed microphones? Lastly, serious issues like health and safety, running of cables, do the camera locations affect guest viewing? Doing this is beneficial for everybody present on the day and allows us to get the best for you and the best from the locations used, whilst minimising disruption.

Complete film do not keep footage or photos for re-order.

We live in a world in which digital photography and remastering of DVD's is easy for the public and not just the domain of the professional. We feel that technology has made it so easy for you to re-produce exactly what you require, why pay us as a middleman? Our contracts are written to confirm and outline the return of your footage or photographs.

Time-scale.

Usual turn around for wedding DVDs is between 28 - 42 days for provisional edit. Although this will be defined within the videography contract. We do offer a 14 day express service, this means a provisional edit for your wedding DVD can be available on your return from the honeymoon. The express service however is chargeable at a different rate.

Videography only.

Your wedding DVD once edited and packaged will be approximately 45 – 60 minute long (3 Copies). Why?

(We want the only thing you use once from your wedding day to be the dress).

You may have seen wedding videos that are longer than an hour in length, some videos can be over two hours in length. On the wedding day we may record as much as 6-8 hours of footage, but in truth many people would not wish to watch that length of footage the first time round. This means that it would probably not be watched again and again, therefore not good for a lifetime of viewing. Our DVDs are optimised for long-term viewing so you can watch one of the most special days in your life again and again.

You will be provided with the rushes (all footage) from your day. This will be presented in order and with chapters but not edited. We also provide a Montage or highlights DVD for you to share with your friend or upload to the internet. These are approximately 4 - 6 minutes long unless specified (1 Copy).

Formats - DVD or Blu-ray.

Complete Film have the capability to provide wedding footage taken from your special day in various formats. Although footage is generally shot in HD, or a similar format, this when edited is usually presented on DVD in standard definition. This is primarily done so the user (you) can play the DVD from any player. We can however if required deliver you wedding video on Blu-ray. This option does incur additional costs. The Blu-ray format does mean that discs may not play on other non Blu-ray players.

Photography only.

On the day the photographers will shoot hundreds of photographs and as with the videography, you will have a copy of each of the photographs taken. For the album collection however specific photographs can be if required touched up, or have minor edits made to them. The album itself will be chosen from a range and a choice of presentations can be applied.
