Our background.
Complete Film have experienced staff that have worked in different areas of TV news, film and the broadcast industry. Staff qualifications vary from photography to video and audio editing, broadcast engineering to health and safety. Staff training varies from camera operators, sound recordists, presentation staff, photographers, producers, directors, trainers and editors, as well as engineering for the entire breadth of the business. We pride ourselves on our skill base and our ability to provide the right people for the right roles.
Our experience in the industry spans decades and training has been given in many fields and applications. Years of attending expensive non-qualification based courses supplied by others has given rise to disappointment for those who have sat through them. This was something we wanted to address when we started our training courses. Our approach is designed to give a well balanced perspective, facts and a real insight as to how it really works.
Our Courses.
Complete Film has three training courses which have been designed to suit varying levels of skills experience and abilities. The courses are designed to be interesting, enjoyable and factual. We structure the course to cover the subjects in reasonable detail, whilst not dwelling too long. It is important that the basics are understood and installed into every student.
The basic principles in all three courses are the same, each course however is designed specifically for an area in a film based industry. The three courses start with background in each of the following subjects, Photography, The Camera, Lighting, Sound, Running and managing a shoot, moving into fundamental principles and practices. Once the initial principles are covered and understood each courses details and subject matter changes to focus on the chosen area within the spectrum of the industry.
Finally we bring all the subjects together and put them into practice. This is done by using mock scenarios with actors and actress's playing designated roles to give you the opportunity to practice what you have learned and get it right.
Course extras.
Attendants of the course will be provided with notes and practical pointers to take away. Over the period of the course (Saturday and Sunday) lunch in the form of sandwiches, tea and coffee will be provided, this is inclusive in the price.
